- Custodial wallet
- A service where the provider controls private keys and records customer balances.
- Internal ledger
- The provider database recording balances, holds, swaps, fees and adjustments.
- Hot wallet
- A readily accessible provider wallet used for routine withdrawals.
- Cold storage
- Provider-controlled keys kept offline or behind reduced-connectivity controls.
- Omnibus wallet
- A custody wallet pooling assets attributed to several customers.
- Token contract
- The chain-specific program and address defining a token.
- Memo or tag
- An extra routing value used to credit a transfer to the right customer.
- Transaction hash

- Exchange-rate spread
